Amy Phibbs

Amy is the administrative assistant to Pastor Brian and Dakota. She manages Planning Center and the church social media. She creates graphics for the Sunday morning slideshows and social media posts. Amy works to publicize church events both in house and online. She is working to digitize church records, schedules, and reminders.

Amy grew up in the Jackson/Beech Island area, and attended Jackson High and Silver Bluff High. She holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood from the University of South Carolina. Amy taught in the Aiken County Public Schools for 29 years and in a Christian private school for 2 years.

Amy was saved at 11 years old. She began attending First Baptist Church Jackson in 2014. Amy’s favorite verse is found in Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear; do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Amy is married to Ben. They have two sons, Zachary and Harrison, two daughters-in-law, Megan and Caitlin. They have three grandchildren, Ronan, Ella, and Walker.  Amy and Ben live near Montmorenci, SC.
